Fok Ying Tung Group

Mr. Fok Ying Tung, a renowned patriotic industrialist from Hong Kong, integrated companies including Lixin Property, Fok Hing Yip Tong and Yourong Shipyard to form Fok Ying Tung Group in support of national modernization and business development. Guided by a commitment to public welfare and people's livelihoods, he devoted his life to national and hometown development and charitable causes. Based in Hong Kong, the group has expanded across mainland China and overseas, covering ports, shipping, high-tech industrial parks, real estate, hotels, energy, education, tourism and more.

After China's reform and opening-up began in 1978, the group was among the first to invest in the mainland, completing Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort and White Swan Hotel in 1979. In 1987, it officially launched the development of Guangzhou Nansha. After a decade of preparation and expert planning, it set out to build Nansha into a modern coastal city founded on commerce and powered by high technology. Over the years, the group has advanced transport, shoreline and ecological infrastructure in Nansha and delivered more than twenty projects, including commercial centers, hotels, technology parks and passenger ports, with cumulative investment exceeding RMB 20 billion.

The group has also established the Fok Ying Tung Foundation, education and sports foundations, and the Fok Ying Tung Foundation in Macao, supporting national development across construction, education, sports, healthcare and culture.
