Mr. Fok Ying Tung, a renowned patriotic industrialist from Hong Kong, integrated companies including Lixin Property, Fok Hing Yip Tong and Yourong Shipyard to form Fok Ying Tung Group in support of national modernization and business development. Gangwan Subdistrict extends east to the Humen Waterway, facing Shatian and Humen towns in Dongguan; south to the Fuzhou Waterway, facing Longxue Subdistrict; west to Huangshanlu and Dachong Metro Station; and north to Jingang Avenue. Its southeastern end reaches Lingdingyang at the Pearl River Estuary.
