China Sports Foundation Foundation-Strengthening Coach Training Program

The China Sports Foundation and the Macao Fok Ying Tung Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with the General Administration of Sport of China to launch a foundation-strengthening program for grassroots coaches from 2025 to 2028.

With a total investment of RMB 40 million, the program will train 1,000 grassroots coaches through systematic courses, international exchange and integrated industry-academia-research resources.

Selected projects will be based in Nansha, supporting a shift from experience-led coaching to science-led training.
